Master/Slave BiVAD Controller

Background

This control system is for a dual LVAD biventricular assist device system. It was initially designed and built for two VentrAssist LVADs, but could be adapted for other dual-LVAD systems by re-tuning the proportional-integral control system.

Aims and Objectives

The aim of this project was to design and build a physiological control system for a dual LVAD rotary BiVAD system.

Please stay tuned for instructions on how to use this control system.
